School Needs

Everyone knows that college kids are typically poor. Well I was no different. It was my freshmen year and bills were piling up while my bank account was winding down. I needed some help and so I got a payday loan. It seemed like the list of things I needed to purchase for my classes just kept growing with no end in sight. With the money from my payday loans, I was able to purchase what I needed. My payday loans were really helpful during this time in my life.
One day I was shopping at an electronics store for an external hard-drive to store files for a class. I came up to the check out line with my $200 purchase. I whipped out my good old debit card only to discover that the account was out of money! Thank goodness I had gotten a payday loan the week before. Without breaking a sweat, I merely took back the debit card from the checker and handed her some of the cash from my payday loan. I would make a payment on my payday loan account when my next paycheck came!

More Loans

The first time I ever got a payday loan was because I wanted a laptop. At first it was okay, was making payments on my payday loan when I was supposed to. But then as time went on I couldn't keep up with the payment on my payday loans, and the calls started coming. I had to keep coming up with excuses as to why I couldn't make my payday loan payments on time (usually I said that their automated service wasn't working) and that usually got me a couple of more days without any late fees being add to my payday loan balance.
As time went on, I kept getting more and more payday loans to help me with my cash flow problems, but then I just kept spending all the money I was getting from my payday loans. Paying the monthly payments for my multiple payday loans was easy enough until I spent every last dime I had gotten from my payday loans. I would just get a new payday loan to pay off the last payday loan that I had gotten. It worked for a while but then I started to get all kinds of late fees added to my already large payday loan balance.
Usually I'd call the payday loan company and tell them that I tried to make a payment for my payday loan but it didn't post until the next day and that I didn't know why that was. They would remove all the late fees but I now they’ve put a block on my account until I can pay down some of my payday loans. Now I have a new payday loan that is smaller than any of the others I’ve gotten. I think I'm being sensible with it, although the sensible thing would've been not to get a new payday loan in the first place.
