Payday loans can be an effective tool.

Payday loans get a bad rap in most financial circles.  Think about it though, who is saying that they are terrible?  People with good credit, that’s who.  If you don’t have good credit or a assets that you can put up for collateral, where else are you supposed to go?

Be sure that when you use a payday loan that you manage the money correctly.  Only use it to cover the bills you have to, and be prepared to pay it back with your next check.  You may have to call some of the people who send you bills regularly and ask them for help making sure that they get their bills paid.  If you ask for help ahead of time, they are much more likely to make arrangements with you.  They may spread out the payments on your current amount due over a couple of months so you won’t be in trouble.  You might just have to come up with $20 or so extra month to pay off the amount.  That’s not that bad.

A payday loan can also help cover things that you forgot to plan for like licensing your car, or even the new tires you need to get to work.  Just because you take out a payday loan does not mean that you are going to go into financial ruin.  People are trying to paint payday loans as completely predatory and that if you get one you are completely sunk.  That’s not the case.  We hear from people all the time that have gotten payday loans, used them wisely, and paid them back.  They thank us for putting them in touch with good lenders that are willing and ready to help get them out of trouble.
